My initial query for research was endorphins – the body’s natural pain killers.
I am lacking in energy and I can’t do exercise to create them.
I am in pain and I want them!
Where do they come from?
How are they made before they are released through exercise?
I believe that to recover a toxic liver or body one must look at the lifestyle of the individual and not hope that taking a supplement or pill will do the job. I believe it involves life-style changes to do with food, exercise and herbs and vitamins and minerals.
I have plotted my inflammed muscle aches to eating foods I have been diagnosed as being allergic to. Especially yeasts and sugars.
I am a ME sufferer and it seems to me that the common denominator in most people’s ‘cures’ for ME/CFS is to do with the gut.
My thoughts are that practitioners with cures all seem to be addressing a symptom and not the cause. So if one is being told that the gut is unhealthy one has to ask: Why?
Trevor McDonald of newscaster fame recently featured a programme concerning health practitioners, one being a Dr Gillian McKeith who heralded a Channel 4 programme called: ‘You are what you eat.’
I have four children all grown and flown the nest and since my marriage, I also have 4 step-children. It was my eldest son’s idea to start this weblog because of all the dialogue through the years of University and beyond concerning health for himself and his friends.
